Yes. Up to two medium-sized pets are allowed per home, as long as they are not an aggressive breed. Please call us to confirm that your pet qualifies.

Manatees gather in the warm spring water in winter. At the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, manatee season runs from November 15 to March 31. Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park also offers manatee viewing.

Bay scallop season in Citrus County usually opens July 1 and runs into the fall. In 2026 it ran from July 1 through September 24. A Florida saltwater fishing license is generally required. Dates change by year, so check the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission before you go.

Tampa International Airport is the closest major airport, about 55 miles away in a straight line. Orlando is roughly 89 miles and about 1 hour 45 minutes by car.
